driving without oil pressure sensor connected.

   as title suggests, does anybody know if it will be ok to drive without the oil pressure sensor connected until my new one arrives.
   i've snapped mine while fitting a 4-2-1 manifold.
   
   car was running fine before and had full service about 3 months ago.
   
   am i right in thinking that all that will happen is the oil light on the dash will come on.
