    Kyle,

I've got the Apex kit. I was pretty surprised at how frequently the Spax kits were apparently falling apart on owners cars. The reliability appears to be quite shocking (no pun intended).

Nothing but praise for my Apex kit. I've done 30k miles with it on now and not a single problem. Front is firm and the rear is very firm - giving very pointy, but precise steering. Seems to be a very well optimised setup for improved handling

The Spax springs on the other hand have progressive wound springs, meaning they start off soft and get progressively stiffer as force is applied to them - which basically results in sloppier handling.

    Apex all over the Spax.

adsayer - yeah i can quiet believe it but ur only down 25mm aint you? im wantin about 50mm might be a differnt story

I thought I was down 25 mm mate but because of the weight of the s engine it brings it down to around 35 ish mm. Either way the spax kit isn't designed with handling in mind a the springs are progressive. And the dampers seems to fail uber quick.

I've got a Spax PSX kit on and never had a problem with it, and I've had on for over 5 years, it is quite a firm ride but that cos its got adjustable dampers and mine are set quite stiff but it handles fine.

I've been selling Apex longer than Spax and I think only one apex damper has failed in that time. I've had more problems with Spax seals going (not lots mind) which is a shame, but i'd go for the Apex if I was fitting them to my car.

lower strut brace makes more of a difference but both are worth having.

Both great price but certainly for the money comparing the 2 the Apex is much better quality/more reliable.
