was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which suspension kit would be the best to go for.. its not going to be for track use just for the road

    thanks

go for apex springs and shocks on the front and uprate the rear shocks too, couple of mates run them and looks good and rides good

i was just reading a similar thread to this and it seems that the sppax kit is prone to problems and i think i am definately swaying towards getting an apex kit if you could find out where abouts your friend got it would be great

They look like B6 dampers... if you want bilstein dampers you want either B4 or B8, the B6's are only about 10% stiffer. I could be wrong though.

The apex kit is pretty good, bang for buck.

That kit is Bilstein B4. An OEM damper which is not really ideal to be used with a lowering spring more than 20-25mm. A 60mm spring will sit on the bumpstops. All Bilsteins aftermarket dampers are all coloured yellow. Both the B6 and B8 dampers are 30% uprated, the difference being the B6 are a full length damper and the B8 is a shortened unit.
Yellow dampers have internal bumpstops, the black needing external.

kam would it be possible to use 60mm springs with the apex extra low kit??
  10. #10
You probably will be ok with that combination.
  11. #11
can you arrange that kit for sale or dont you do that?

you would have to mix and match. The only 60mm springs we do are the Spax. I dont know how that combination would be to sell it as a kit on the website but we sell all the parts separately anyway.

i have a mix of parts lol

spax -60mm springs, apex front dampers and bilstein b8 rear dampers
