Brake light issue

   The Mrs followed me home last night and pointed out that one of my brake lights (left) is permanently on when the tail lights are on.
   
   Right hand and high level brake lights are fine, and the tail lights appear to be fine.
   
   Can't see it being the brake switch as that would surely effect the rest of the brake lights?
   
   Anyone got any ideas?

   Take the bulb for the brake light that side out & look for corrosion at the base,then clean up the connector board for the rear lights.
