what do poly bushes do?

    heard people mention them. what do they do and whats good about them cheers

    pretty much just make whatever you put them on tighter,stiffer.. think they wear better than normal rubber bushes aswell but not totally sure.

    Mainly used to stiffen the suspension on a dropped sax.
    Helps get better road holding and cornering if you get the set-up right.

    On normal bushes, they're quite squishy, which means you get a small degree of movement in the suspension components. The manufacturers do this to minimise road noise and increase comfort - however this flexibility in the suspension system means that the handling can feel sloppy. So by replacing the mounts with something stiffer, you reduce the unwanted movement which gives you a more precise response to steering inputs.
