   ive been given a set of 266mm 206 gti brake calipers from a friend but im just wondering if they will fit under my 14'' vtr alloys

   they should fit under the inside but might have to put spacers on for the outside of the caliper

   ok mate cheers, will i need to change the brake pipes or can i use the standard saxo ones.

   i know 266 berlingo brakes fit straight under standard R rims with no issue apart from trimming a small piece off the caliper mounting bracket with no spacers etc

   ok cheers, the calipers ive got are lucas and have 57 stamped on the top

   the same as mine with a bit trimmed off the corner so they fit even under “14

   I think it is only the wider bosch calipers that use the 22mm discs that need to have a part grinder off to clear the strut, the lucas calipers should be ok they will defo fit behind the vtr wheels as standard

   just tried fitting the lucas calipers and theyre wont fit under the vtr wheel, theyre rubbing on the inside of the spokes, so it looks like im gunna have to use a 5mm spacer
