   i have a big problem..... well i think it is and i was wondering what to do...... for some reason this morning my battery died (fair enough) so i gave it a jump later on and the car instantly over heated, so i bled out the engine coolant... (no more over heating) however it is now pouring out with smoke from the exhaust and the engine is tapping ??? any suggestions??? .p.s im not a that much of a mechanical buff so if it can be simplified then please try to thanks

   white, but i think it its the head gasket grrr

   if you take your oil cap off , see if its a browny mayo colour, if it is then its head gasket.
