Odd noise when pulling off

  1. #1
i get this really odd noise when i pull off somtimes

it sounds very much like a seizes caliper but ive had them checked and it was fine...

i was thinkin maybe my driveshaft would do it?

it sounds as tho something is stucking but ive had it checked and nothing is

any help? it isnt really important to know and get it fixed soon but its just annoying not knowing what it is...

i had my CV boots changed, so had bushes etc.. checked the same time all seem fine ...

clutch, broken spring, steering rack iv heard can make odd noises at slow speed.

Are you sure its not your handbrake sticking ie its not releasing straight away?

nah because it happens when ive just stopped at a junction aswell as pulling off, but... might be a crutial thing i missed out, only makes the sound when my wheel is turned...

could be slightly/full lock. if its straight it wont do it .

nah its not clutch, i think its coming from front passenger side... not broken spring, has been chcked and no idea about steering rack, it could be. i will have to get it checked again... a more specific check :]

mine was doing a similar thing untill 2day when i took a look the handbrake cable had come out of the plastic clip?clamp on the rear axle which ended up rubbing on the inside of the wheel.

ill take a look later but surely it cant be that as the sound isnt all the time and comes from the front passenger side
