hi their i just bought a 205 1.1 gt model i think, but it has a 2001 saxo vtr engine in and has two dellorto 40 carbs.my boss looked at it with me and says i need bigger pilot jets as mine say 09 on them if that means anything to anyone.where could i buy some from and what size?

The actual problem is car will just tick over when warm but spluttery all way up reves until its really high reved.splutters and backfires,

tbh, take it to a reputable carb tuning place will work out best in the long run

do you have a picture of the engine bay --
are the carbs from an early type of 205 or ax 1300cc been fitted to it .
If so take them off and sell them --they are worth real money to someone with a REAl 205 rallye or an ax sport ,who is a collector or trying to restore to original spec--bet you can get enough money for them --from right man ,to fit t/bodies +ecu --which will be much simpler and better
