Car wont idle properly

got a bit of a problem, i fitted a pipercross induction kit the other day and initially i had a problem with it idleing at 2k revs which i fixed by putting the breather pipe properly. just took it out for a drive and it was fine at first but now it wont tick over properly, if i stop at a set of lights or something and take my foot of the gas the rev counter bounces between 500 and 1000 revs for a few seconds and then the engine just cuts out.

    anyone got any ideas?

You may have a split in 1 of your breather/vacuum hoses meaning too much air is being sucked in and upsetting the idle.Or your ICV needs cleaning(search for the guide)
