Aweful knocking when on brakes

   any ideas what this might be? when i press on the brakes it knocks aweful till i stop

   Lose caliper ???
   
   
   Take a wheel off one at a time and take a look, see if any af the braking system is loose.

   I don`t know for sure about saxo front brakes but could the pads be knocking because of loose rattle springs?

   my dad said CV joint gone, then when we described it to a few garages around our area they also said CV joint
