Boot popper from Ebay?

   Hello
   
   I have a delocked and smoothed boot but the popper doesn't seem to work.
   I can't be bothered to trace all the cables etc so for the sake of £20 quid odd, I thought about buying a new unit off ebay and running a fresh cable.
   
   Could I...
   
   Replace the popper itself within the boot panel and then just run a cable to the front of the car, wire it up to the standard boot popper button on my dashboard?

   Wire it up to the rear wiper like I did I'm going to the unit tomorrow m8 I'll see what colour wires they are ? But thats only if your wiper is off sorry ?

   Yeah my wiper is off so that would be a possibility.
   
   What if I accidently turn the wiper switch while I am driving, wont that pop the boot open lol?

   No you don't do it for the up and down you do it to the twist . One lol

   Lol that's all I did then you don't have to use loads of wires and extra buttons plus will only work when you turn the key to on ....... Only thing you have to remember is to turn it to you and when it pops open turn it back so do you want me to look at the wires m8

   I'll take some photos and put them up as a few people want to do it I just think it looks so much cleaner

    I didnt actually do mine, it came like it but I would imagine you just remove the boot lock, use some filler, sand it down and have it sprayed?
    
    Also need to remove the badges
