cutting rear bumper

#1

#2Pull the back box up to it as tight as you can, run it like that for a month/1000 miles so it melts lovly into the bumper. Then remove the exhaust and clean up the edge with sandpaper/wetNdry to be left with a perfect shape
-
#3I use a grinder with a cutting disc but yeh that ok but if your wanting it round that will be no good
-
#4just move the back box over abit
-
#5It wont go anymore i tried
-
#6What backbox is it? Ive never come accross or heard of any backbox that wont sit properly without abit of juggling about or effort.
-
#7sportex, i can go give it another try. i didnt really give it a good go yesterday cause my hands were cold. will report back after dinner lol
-
#8Bend the brackets on the backbox, use jubalee clips and cable ties to pull it to how you want.
-
#9May sound stupid but do the brackets have to sit all the way in the rubber mounts? or can they sit in half way or so?
-
#10Its criminal to cut bumpers, there is always a way to avoid it. I just use Tie wraps, they ALWAYS work seens how they are adjustable. Are you sure you havn't put a 106 exhaust on a saxo? They defiantly don't fit properly
-
#11it came off a guys saxo on here. i think u guys are right i just need to fiddle bout with it
-
#12flipped the bracket and im pretty happy where it is now. bit more fiddlin when i can be bothered and should be perfect
-
#13Couple of jubilee clips will allways get it sitting perfect.

#14iv got a sportex backbox on mine just takes a while to get it in the right place
