Mk1 cylinder Head

Does anyone now if mk2 vtr valves will fit into a mk1 vtr cylinder head? are the angles the same?
Also on a mk1 vtr what is the little black box underneath the ecu?
    Cheers Rich

I cant see why they wouldnt fit but i cant give a 100% answer but i know the mk2 vts valves are the same as mk1 but the vtr being 90bhp mk1 and 98bhp the mk2 i dont know. The black box is the fuel pump relay that controls the fuel and injectors etc.

Ah i see... i imagine the mk1 relay box which is black wouldnt be able to be swapped for a mk2 brown one.
Ive got 3 brown ones but no black ones.
Just another thing to get from the scrappy

Can you tell me what needs to be done re' changing it to a screw on metal oil filter?

I am fitting a mk1 head to a mk2 block (3 plug) will swop over the inlet and exhaust manifolds from the mk1 to the mk2,

Dont want to end up putting it back together and find it does not fit eg will the oil filter get in the way of the exh manifold?
