Which side?

   Thinking I need a new drive shaft, I get a knocking on left had turns. Which drive shaft is it likely to be

   which side does the knocking come from?
   
   when mine knocked turning left it was o/s shaft, check CV boots on both shafts

   As said, check the cv boots on the driveshafts for any splits or oil coming out. Then you will know which side needs replacing

   You should be able to tell which side the knocking is coming from, you could hear a loud knocking from the right when turning left with mine before getting it sorted.

   Right now I'm confused jack up the car this morning and both driveshafts look fine both dry and the rubber looks like new. What could the knocking noise be

   With the car stationery put the car on full lock either side you`ll hear a knock & can sometimes feel it through the floor if the shaft is really bad.
