Right guys.
Been fitting a gti engine in my vtr, he has a vts 3 plug loom and ecu and it start hut it doesn't want to if you get me.
I checked the wires for the tps and you can see someone has change the plug before, but they've wired it like this:
yellow to red
green to pink
pink to green
surely it should be:
yellow to red
pink to pink
green to green
I'm clutching at straws here as we have changed the two top sensors on the throttle body, we've put a new coilpack on it, a second hand but fine working order lamba sensor,
but it still won't run properly, I mean it doesn't really want to start and it won't idle without you playing on the throotle and the minute you let go it just stalls instantly.
Could it be the tps wiring?
