#6M8 when i firt had my vtr it was jumping but i changed the timing belt and water pump and now its stopped and never happens. maybe worth changing the timing belt as it worked for me.Quote:hi, when i change gear from first into second my car jumps about abit not every time im not sure if im givein it enough revs because when i accelertate when its doing it the car like boosts and i can feel it pulling, its only a 1 litre and iv not been driving long am i changein gear to fast? please help

Personally if your new to driving it could be down to learning the car, In my opinion it taktes a good 6 - 12 months to get used to a car. Without sounding harsh as i dont mean to but the 1.0 is very underpowered and you may find the car struggles sometimes, but i would say your taking your foot off the clutch too quick
