hi guys wondering if youve had a similar problem
just done a head gasket on my 106 1.1 independance with an ali block and head, cleaned all the surfaces down put the gasket on, torque the bolts to the haynes manual spec, and bled the cooling system
ran it up but the fan is always on wen the engine gets to temp like its overheating?, so changed the temp sensor. no joy, wen i bleed the thermostat housing air just comes out and out for ages and little water as though the head gasket has failed?? weird..., the hose to the back of the block (high one) bleeds fine tho
but just wen i think all the air has been bled the fan runs continuesly on all road test... pissing me right off, wondering if its the wrong gasket as they gave me the wrong oil filter and coolant pump as i found wen i came to fit them!! bloody motor factors...
