anything can fit with enough time and money ect but by the time you get driveshafts, custom mounts and all the rest of the stuff you would be cheaper and faster putting a itb'd or boosted vts engine in there

Yes it can be put in

Wether the front panels will still fit is a question
and itll need welding custom mounts custom shafts custom wiring custom gear linkages ect ect

As said a tuned vts engine is easier but its your money

im not looking to do the conversion myself so im trying to think of the best/ cost effective way for more power. looking at a few turbo kit's with all the plumbing etc it's going to be around £5-6k and then i'd still have to find an engine. do you know of any other specialist's besides cituning or pug1off?

If your looking at boost then colin at atspeed (see the affiliates section) is your man
Hes done a few very nice turbo cars

A second hand 16v is about 3/400 quid for one decent enough to boost or even just use the 8v it works quite well

Relly on saxos and 106s the best way for power is boost
Ive just spent about 6k on my 106 to get just over 180bhp but boosted that could of been nearer 250
