hi ive got sum gti-6 stoppers to fit to my car are they a straight fit or do i have to modify slightly im running vts wheels so theres no clearance problems there an help wud be great
gti-6 brakes fitting ??

#1

#2Don't know if they are the same pal but I had to grind the corners of my 266mm calipers to get them to fit onto the struts
-
#3il have to trial fit them altho i have been told uprated disks and pads are as good as fiting gti6 brakes so maby that will be the cheaper option than getin new disks callipers pads and hoses

#4your kinda correct, the pedal leverage in a 6 is slightly different to the 106/saxo and the 6 brakes never feel the same in the saxo/106 as they do in a gti6. they are bloody sharp in my actual gti6 but my track car i could never get them to feel as good!

#5You'll need to grind a bit off the strut for them to fit, nothing major though. If you want the real effect of gti brakes then get yourself a gti6 master cylinder. All you've gotta do is remove the seals for the header bottle and swap them for the one's from your old m/c.

#6they will fit over vts wheels. only issue may be wheel weights if you have them near the caliper.
i have a 306 gti master cylindar if you are interested?
