hi pps iv had my engine overhauled so does anyone know how i can set the timing up when i put it back on,i dnt wanna fuck it up,wen i stript it i put loads of marks all over the cam shafts but im guessing when i pick it up the marks will have gone because of it being cleand out,any help pls cheers

#6before you do anything make sure the top end is clean. give it a once over with a de greaser or white spirits.
set the cams at top dead centre while the head is off. you can do this by turning the cams and putting a couple of 5mm drill bits through the pulleys into the head (you will see there are cutouts for them) this will lock the cams in TDC. with regard to locking the bottom end your better off doing a search as its hard to explain with out pictures. i believe a guy called "asbo motorsport" put a post up which i followed and was easy.
