aftermarket exhaust, sound help

I put a 3" after market exhaust on my 1.4 furio,

it sounds like a tank :/ is there anyway of changing the noise/tone of it?

as it looks really good but doesnt sound that good

any help would be great

it has cat in mani, dont wanna de-cat it as it will get louder, and if i put a silencer box in it means i will have to cut into my center section and weld it on and i dont reall wanna do that

thats the one i bouvght but in 3" i am looking at bungs but there like 25 quid :0

no offense mate but you get what you pay for! see because its cheap! yeah looks good but made from rubbish materials were as if you pay what 150 or watever it is for kam racing backbox! expensive but good quality.

as i said maybe a decat might make it sound bit more raspy?

i realise this now :/ better get saving up! i want a piper backbox as i heard there nice, is there no way i can make mine quiet then?

erm probs best to put your standerd one back on if you want it to be quiet but yeah piper/kam racing or supersprint? i have a kam racing 2inc with a supersprint decat on my vts and thats loud but sounds amazing.

The 3" is your problem, fit a smaller exhaust and it wont drone so much & piss off your neighbours.

magnex sounds nice but is a bit more expensive and i dont like the way you can see the back box (is a big back box)

when i put my foot down its like a deisel and no its not blowing did a pressure test on it
