Got a problem with my auto box, on my saxo 1.4i, wondered if any one can help. The car has no acceleration what so ever, I now expect it is the gearbox after along and extensive fault finding saga that has been going on for nearly 2 months, does anyone know the problem?? Have they had this problem??? Could it be easy to repair??? I'm going to change the transmission filter and renew the fluid, to see if this helps as it could be blocked. Could it be a problem with the torque converter, are they easy to replace???? The manual recommends leaving the transmission to a specialist, but I dont really want to sell the car as it is a fantastic little run around for the missus, but I dont want to spend alot more money on it. Any assistance would be great.
