Saxo VTR - Slowing down, all lights on, cutting out.

   I've a 2000 1.4 Furio, basically when i slow down, clutch and brake the rev's go lower than 1000 RPM. All the lights then come onto the dash and the vehicle cuts out.
   
   I've a few opitions in my head.
   
   - Idle air control valve
   - Alternator and battery.
   
   Also the battery light flickers when slowing down, I give her abit of rev's it goes off and the vehicle is fine.
   
   Advise please.

   Every so often coming upto junctions and roundabouts. When i slow down and go to change gear the battery light and oil light flicker and my power steering goes. Then i have to try and pull up safely. Sometimes just pressing the accellerator gets it going again sometimes it doesn't.
   
   Anyone got any ideas at all?

   i had same problem it was battery mate loosing power change it and all will be good mate

   Yup sounds like your battery cant hold charge..

   have your battery and alternator tested mate.
   
   i have same problem, however only in really bad weather, i cleaned my icv and throttle body sensor a while back and it seems to be ok, fingers crossed.
