Will a 106 door fit a sax?

   Been offered a diablo red door from a T reg 106.
   
   Now the shells are the same, so are the doors the same (not including door moulding holes)?
   
   I have read that after 2000, the hinges changed, but Ill just swap the 1's I have now over.
   
   Will it all line up?
   Are the doors the same style?

   Not the same style but will fit iirc. The 106 door has a crease inwards at the bottom, where as the Saxo doesn't I don't think?

   yea same door,but you will need to bond the trims off a saxo on or drill the holes in 106 door
   
   
   and yea hindges did change and are wleded so you cant just swap them over
   
   the newer ones have like a notch cut into them,where as the older doors do not
   
   if its an older door going on a newer car ull have to cut this notch into the hindge
   
   (iv done it a 98 106 door on a 02 vtr!)

   Sorted.
   Bonding the door trim isnt a problem (thinking about smoothing it over anyway, so this is a good start).
   
   With the notch...is it a grinder jobbie, or will a hacksaw do the job?
   Dont suppose you have any pictures?
   Whats the problem if I dont cut the notch? (will the door not fit/ close/ open)
   
   It will be a T reg door going onto a X reg car....early 2001 I think it is.
