corsa cutting out/stuggling/power loss/rough idle

   Hi all,
   i know this isnt a saxo problem, but my gf has a 'p' reg corsa that doesnt idle properly, and when your driving along it randomly misfires and judders, and it can cut out when stopping a junctions for example. Please help i think i got whiplash last time she took me out! On the brightside it always starts first time after it cuts out.

   Not sure if r reg corsas have a coilpack but my sister used to have an x reg one that did the same sort of thing and it was that.. could be a few things though

   Idle control Valve or Air flow meter
   
   but my moneys on idle control valve, corsa's are bastards for these !!

   my corsa did this had new icv and air flow meter put on not much change it ended up being the earth wire on top of the engine hope that helps

   If valves were bent issue would be there all the time. My guess is as above, might just be in need of a clean.
