Where does it go?
What is it connected to?
Is it important?

the thing it is going to in the picture is the idle control valve and it will go to the air box so yea it is important hope this helps Tom

as said above is for the idle control valve, it connects to where the 2nd box is on the picture

Mk2 use 2 different set ups for silver top motors so don't worry if yours looks different. The pic above is early set up and has the CAT under the car.
