Will knackered front shocks make a car sit lower than it should?

    What else can be the cause for a lowered car to sit lower than it should on the suspension kit fitted to it? will dud shocks cause a lower ride height as im very confused how someones vts on the 50mm apex kit seems to be slammed epicly low

    Depends what you mean by knackered??? If its leaked then yeh as it would just drop but im not sure if it was just weak, i dont think it would it would just be more bouncey.

    in short,no. Dampers do not affect ride height at all

    Someone did this on my VTS when i bought it, was measured at 80mm all round, The reason it went lower on mine was cause of the weight of the engine for some of it and the actual dampers were f*cked aswell
