Savagely smoky engine (with video)

Anyone point me in the right direction of what's wrong?

I cleaned the ICV/Throttle body as well as the inlet manifold (I think? - Butterfly bit connecting to the throttle cable). I thought it was over fueling and might be a sensor, but all the sensors I've checked are impeccably clean. Maybe I'm not checking the right ones. So I'm thinking lambda sensor or an injector or something? Or maybe more serious?

Also I don't know how clear it is but the car struggles/jults.. Like it's going to die.

    Head gasket.

hmm thats not healthy. i had a similar issue on an early 1.4 xsi. turned out to be the ecu was causing an injector fault, but then that was the old bosch management thats notoriously naff. sounded like the exhaust had fallen off and was smoking soooo badly!

i would say head gasket or piston rings most likely head gasket

is it blue or white can't really tell on the vid. but bule = knackered rings
    white=knackered headgasket.

check for a mayo like substance on the filler cap and in the expansion bottle.

The smoke looked slightly blue to me which would indicate rings

Do you have to refill the oil regularly?

The rings were shot on my old 205 and I had to stick 2 litres a month in lol

I think it does have a blue tinge.. And yeah, Oil was empty when I got it. I mean literally nothing in there.

Could be shot rings or HG to be honest ..or even something else
Have you done the normal Hg checks?

    No mate, what are they?

rings, valves or headgasket. take it to a garage for a compression and cylinder leak test.

If the HG is shot, generally you would have some oil in the water or vice versa
Not always the case but worth a check anyway.

Open the oil filler cap and see if there is any 'mayo type stuff' on it
This would indicate that coolant has got into the oil due to a crack in the HG
Could also see if there is any oil in the coolant by draining some out

A compression test will tell you for sure thou as LeeM says
