   Hi guys,
   
   My steering seems to be really heavy!
   It feels if it does not have any power steering!
   
   I checked the fluid and there seems to be plenty there!
   Do i need to change it?
   
   Any ideas what it might be?

   start teh car turn the wheel on the spot and listen out for the usual whirring of teh pump. if you find there is silence (from the pump) then my bet is, that the pump is not working so start by checking this list from the manual:
   
   -low PAS fluid level
   -air in PAS system, needs bleed
   -PAS wiring disconnected or damaged
   -PAS pump fuse blown or other wiring fault
   -PAS pump defective (fucked)

   First check if your power steering is working.
   
   Get in car, Take off steering lock, Turn wheel and hold with left hand until some force is felt, Then start the car. If the wheel frees up and turns. then power steering is working.
   
   If not, see tarzan's post.
