vtr performance any ideas?

hi everyone, turning 20 next weekend so insurance has finally gone down, so hopefully getting a vtr. i drive alot of miles but heard the vtr is still pretty good on the economy run about 40mpg am i right ? wanting to put a few mods on the vtr to make it abit quicker but nothing much was thinking:

vts/1.1 gearbox which would be best for 0-60 and mpg bearing in mind top speed cant be too low 80minimum

exhaust system thinkin supersprint or the onex omp group n (exc manifold for now )

closed air induction kit any ideas?

    bigger brake discs reasonable price

omex rev limiter with launch control will this make the car pop and bang and a few flames ?

car will already be stripped out and my bucket seats and harness from my current car put in. Any advice is help full cheers.

    sax sport exhaust
    supersprint or raceland mani (heatwrapped)
    vts or s2 rallye box
    266mm brakes
    uprated panel filter
    strip the interior?
maybe go as far as a cam or a remap but you would be cheaper putting a nice 16valve in there

That will provide with good performance knowledge.
As for the mpg i wouldnt say i get 40 mpg out of my Vtr but mine is mostly short journeys around town and that.

I think the 1.1/vts box is better for acceleration where as vtr has higher top end, not sure about specifics though.

I have a supersprint exhaust on for 3 weeks now it sounds nice, but i still have cat on so its not popping like i want but that will happen with a decat.

Alot of people say if you dont wanna pay over 100 for an enclosed induction that a uprated panel filter is just as good with a cold air feed.

Stripping the car is good because its free and can save alot of weight.

Not sure about the rev limiter with lauch control aint heard alot about it.
