Stiff gearbox???

   Hey guys, i just wanted to ask a question about my stiff gearbox... somedays it can be nice and goes into gears realli well and sometimes it can be tiff but not too stiff.... Wud changing the gearbox oil do the trick??? its dun 78000miles on the clock and i dont think that the gearbox oil/transmission oil has ever been changed so wud this cure the problem?? cheers guys..

   Yes changing the oil would help, I had this with a previous box on my VTR, changed the oil and sorted it for when I sold the car

   i have the same issue - very difficult to get in to gear and sometimes crunches but have just changed g/b oil. could a worn clutch be to blame?
