decating a mk 2 vtr

   whats the cheapest way of decating a mk 2 vtr... Because cat is in manifold. So buy a mk 1 manifold and do that? Would this work? Cheers

   Just get a downpipe that hasnt got a cat from scrappers

   Mk1 manifold / down pipe wont fit a mk2 unless you convert to the Mk1 oil filter setup as it will foul the mk2 cartridgre type oil filter

   Buy a cheapy mk1 manifold and downpipe, do the mk1 oil filter conversion and bobs your uncle.. Job done, but you will just have to get mk1 exhaust for MOT time baby!
