#4The battery is quite new and fully charged and I have replaced the plugs and HT leads too. It simply refuses to start from cold with good turnover but a bit of popping and spluttering then eventually it seems to flood and the battery dies. If I leave it out in the sun for a few hours it will start ok and run sweet as a nut and start ok for the rest of the day. It is a cold weather related problem that I dont get when the weather warms up. HELP !!

#5Its been sitting in the sun for a few hours and just started fine so why doesn't it want to start in the cold ???

#6temperature sensor id try first

I was previously advised to look for the air temp sensor with a 2 pin grey connector in the throttle body but there isn't one but all my starting problems are temperature related as it bumps ok. Any ideas cos the Haynes is pretty useless!!
