Right my car will cut out when i try to start it not long after switching it off i.e. running in to the shop or putting petrol in etc.
It will start and rev between 400-900 without me pressing anything. Even if i put my fooot down on accelerator nothing will change it will struggle then cut out. Then after it has cut out i have to hold down ignition and foot on accelerator for a few seconds before it jumps to life and then the revs will hold at 2000-2500.
I have changed fuel filter and air filter recently and cleaned icv and reset ecu after doing so. The car starts up fine if left for a while and revs do not stick at all. I have read loads of idle threads on here using the search but none seem to be when starting it shortly after turning it off.
Just wondering if anyone can narrow down what is wrong because dont have a lot of money to spend at the moment and dont want to change sensor afer sensor with no improvement.
