sweeking noise, vtr

   hi guys brought a 2000 saxo vtr on saturday and i have got a weird sweeking noise coming from the left wheel when i turn. i asked my friends dad and he said its not the wheel bearing and it could be something to do with the break pads, but just wondering if anyone has got any other suggestions what it could be. thanks matt

   Could be a dry CV joint. Take it off and have a look.

   Try some copper grease (or brake grease) on the back of the brake pads!

   thanks guys turned out it was plastic inside the wheel arh which was rubbing against the brake hose i think which was causing the noise which has stopped , bad side might need a new driceshaft in the future
