   done my vts conversion was fine (from t reg into an ax, both loom for loom);
   
   however today started her up and she limits about 4k, if u progresss up the rev range will limit at 5k at a push.
   
   Tried so far:
   
   - new plugs
   - cleaned crank sensor
   - new fuel filter
   
   
   ANY IDEAS?

   Does the AX have a cat? how about, the cat has broken up and a piece of it is blocking the exhaust flow

   no cat, all 16v running gear - straight threw 4-2-1 etc. was runnig fine for 2 months.. seems like ecu fault or something ?

   does it feel like its strangled or is it a rev limiter type thing?

   Fuel pump?
   
   My fuel pumps going. If i got a low amount of fuel it wont let me rev above 3000 rpm without pulling back.

   feels like it wants to rev harder but is struggling to get past 4k. ok cheers mate will try a fuel pump! sounds promising!

   Aye. What shell is it? 1.0 shells need fuel pump upgrade irc. Or it's the gt needs it.
   I had the problem now n again n that was ecu fault.
