Sax is overheating help please

   Right my cars been overheating for tye last couple of days ive checked the water the pump the sensors its all fine, the fan comes stright on when ive been driving for about 5 minutes and the tempurature gauge goes on red and the light goes on what else could this be? Cheers andy

   sensor? relay switch?
   water in the rad?
   coolant also??
   
   are the pipes hot too?

   Are you losing water? If so rad leak, or heater matrix leak
   
   If not could be airlock, is it bled properly?
   
   Head gasket failure symptoms:
   
   heater not working
   top pipe hard with pressure
   mayonnaisse on filler cap/oil in water
   steam coming out of exhaust

   Head will go is you have been using it whilst temp is in red...

   Bleed the radiator 1st & open the radiator cap & smell for exhaust gases if you can smell exhaust gases then your head gasket has gone.In the mean time limit your driving as you`ll do more harm than good.

    I bled the thermostat its alot cooler for now

    Chuck some k-seal in there for the time being and see how you go.
