1.4 furio mega problems

its problem after problem with this car it needs:
rear axle
alternator
pas has now givin up
heaters and demister dont work
it knocks when you go round corners
front caliper siezed
air bag light flashing
gear stick feels like it in neutral even when in gear
the wheel bolts are a star shaped head and i havent got the adaptor
only had the car since sunday and im at wits end allready can anyone shed any light on these faults

Alternator as about 25 pound from scrappies some give you money back for giving your old one in!

Best place to start would be the fuses check them all one by one also check the fuses under the bonnet that will probably fix a few problems out for you the air bag light might be the connector under the front seats pull apart clean spray with wd40 reconnect and see

it was fine i drove it home down the m5 and it was fine apart from rear axel which the bloke told me about then i noticed the heaters and demisters and pas is intermitent started yesterday and alternator went today i took the alternator off tonight and its a right state

also noticed gear stick was funny on way home but goes into every gear ok its just a bit sloppy lol and the front end started playing up today front drivers wheels rub against in bit

i know a bit bout cars but ive allways had vauxhalls and there simple lol this my first non vx and would rather ask people on here bcos you all expierenced with saxos

he got a vectra that gonna eat its own bottom end up and i got a car with a sound engine it gotta few mods to: lowered, straight threw powerflow exhaust, green air filter tinted rear windows, rear lexus lights and 15 inch alloys

front caliper siezed - £10-£20 (Ebay or scrappie) - Easy to change
air bag light flashing - Ignore this or disconnect and reconnect the orange cable under the drivers seat, usually sorts it
gear stick feels like it in neutral even when in gear - Saxos are known for the stick to be a bit wobbly, there is how to fix guide on the site somewhere

Rear axle is the worst of your issues mate
Buy an old french tin can, expect to spend money on it unfortunately

I have heard that when the heaters and the PAS dont work it could be a faulty ignition switch, thats from posts off here though so could be BS

if your fan, demisters and power steering isnt working try taking the old altenator off the car and turn your car on and see if the three worked cause i had the same problem and when the altenator was taken off they all worked.

if you mean the tuner style bolts on the wheels you can get a "key" from ebay to undo them with just search saxo wheels bolts/nuts and you should find something to fit them for about a fiver, sounds like alot of problems u got there! oh and airbag light maybe the connectors under the seats loose?

i have now sorted alternator and pas , rear demister working now but heaters arnt also when you give it beans the batt light flickers

Heaters or fan?

No heat? Bleed system could be HG.
No fans? Check fuses bound to be a fuse gone, or could be the ignition switch gone very common problem this also affects pas and rear demister.
Batt light ~ Down to battery not getting enough charge, check connections on alternator are good, and the alternator is in good nick.

if battery light flickers thats what happened when my alternator was shit did you get new one or one from scrappy???

and heaters could be the switches my mates one just went in his 106, try bleading the rad could have bit of an air lock

Alternator not sorted then... if you got if from a scrappy you need to go change it...
