underseal ?

   what do you guys use that leaves a nice finish im doin under my car beside the exhaust, would matt black paint do the job or hammerite?

   Wouldnt mind someone posting a good method aswell. I was just going to remove any rust with a wire brush attachment etc. Then rust proof primer, then hammerite final coat? That any good?

   Avoid rattle cans at all costs if you want it to last. Use a spray gun if you can. Clean the metal thuraly. Good epoxy primer with a high zinc content. Then pick whatever colour you like. Finally a good thick lacquer. Does not matter if your not all that great with one as it's not a place people will normally look. The likes of Hammerite is more at home on a iron gate not car body panels.

   after cleaning i would use Dinetrol or wak spray, Wurth have a good one!

   Ive used Hammerite on the under body of my vts,and Gti........good stuff...
