balencing weights

  1. #1
can the weights be put to the inside back of the alloy as if they are on the front they catch my break callipers / brembos ??
  2. #2
line them up, jack it up and see what clearance u have
  3. #3
the weights are on the front of the alloy now and they catch can they not balance it by putting them on the back instead
  4. #4
the back alloys of the back of the alloys?

u must have 0 clearance then because the weights arnt that big

no iv done big break conversion on the front breaks on vts it now has 4 pot brembos under 15 inch wheels iv just bought some new wheels and two weights are right in line with the front of the brembo which has 2mm clerance from the inside of the wheel which makes the weights catch but if the weights were on the opposite side of the alloy they wouldnt catch can they b on the opposite side and still have correct ballence

i guess so, not entirely sure on that

aye cheers mate its a confusing one il get to the tyre shop n ask them
  8. #8
No you can't just unstick them and put them on the other side. Best bet is to get them rebalanced but tell them where you need the weights to go

How big are the bloody weights?

    What brembo's are they?

My brembo's clear my weights by about 2mm, and that's on 15" wheels.

my house mate (stealth106) had to have his weights put on the back of his 15" alloys with his brembos.... and yes clearence was very close

You can get slim weights because of this.
