can any one tell me why my saxo vts mk2 loses power and tries to cut out until i put my foot down it jerks a bit and pulls off, would be much appreciated as it is very annoying thanks .

#5When was it last serviced?It could be a number of things but try changing the plugs & fuel filter 1st IE the cheapest things 1st,then go from there.

#6thanks mate, yeah more info on that would be the car has only done 53000 miles everything else seems to be fine, i got the car cheap about a month ago,, it never had a air filter jus the intake, it also came with a dual exhaust which im not too keen on, i have took everythin u have all said on board and i will check them all out. Just tryin to pin point the problem is being a hard task .
