HELP can anyone tell me whats wrong?

   can any one tell me why my saxo vts mk2 loses power and tries to cut out until i put my foot down it jerks a bit and pulls off, would be much appreciated as it is very annoying thanks .

   cold i took it round the block earlier, but it started yesterday when i had been out inthe car all day....... ????

   When was it last serviced?It could be a number of things but try changing the plugs & fuel filter 1st IE the cheapest things 1st,then go from there.

   thanks mate, yeah more info on that would be the car has only done 53000 miles everything else seems to be fine, i got the car cheap about a month ago,, it never had a air filter jus the intake, it also came with a dual exhaust which im not too keen on, i have took everythin u have all said on board and i will check them all out. Just tryin to pin point the problem is being a hard task .

   Mine does the same but my fuel pump is on its way. The only time its not a problem is when I have over a quarter of a tank..

    Not totally sure on this but maybe coolant sensor?
