Important! : driveshaft seal question

   which way round does the drivers side driveshaft seal go in? with the white plastic bit on the outside?
   
   i just fitted one, put everything back together, filled up and its pissing out of the new seal.
   
   not happy is an understatement.

   Google 'saxo drive shaft oil seal which way round' and check pics
   
   I am unable to view them properly as at work but one of them looks like you will be bale to tell.
   
   IIRC white bit goes on the inside

   Thanks for the reply, the first picture on google (im also at work) seems to show the passenger side, im after the drivers side. It seems that once seal has the white plastic ring, one doesnt.
   
   I might see if the citroen website has any clues at to the correct way round it goes.

   So the white plastic protection collar is on the outside?
