am i right in saying that a 8v vtr engine will fit straight into a furio without requiring new loom and that?????

#2no lol
you will need the vtr loom and ecu, if your buying a vtr engine surely the engine would come with these?
even if the furio loom did somehow fit, why take the risk of being held up by a loom that doesnt fit?
just get the bits you need and then you know it'll go smoothly, but you'll definitely need the ecu -
#3ohhh okay mate its just i got told today all i need is the engine cuz everything else is the sameQuote:no lol

#4nah the loom MIGHT be the same, you could deffo get it to work by swapping sensors over but you would need a vtr loom to swap sensors over so might as well jsut fit a vtr loom lol also the 1.4 ecu will be mapped to a 1.4 not a 1.6 again the 1.4 ecu could run the vtr engine but it wouldnt be nice to drive and wouldnt be getting the full potential out the engine... i could fit a 1.1 ecu to my vts but it wouldnt perform very well lol1 user thanked this post:
