Mot failed need help ?

Hi my mot failed today although nothing was 2 serious. I have a few questions though which im a bit stuck on. I have black angel front lights for my car and my offside headlamp wasnt workin on main beam. I'm not sure how to get the bulb out which i guess is the reason why its stopped working. Do i just pull it out or is there a way to do it.

Second thing was the offside front front constant velocity joint gaitor insecurely mounted to its housing. Tbh i hve no idea about this and need help.

Is the Driveshaft.

But the housing is either the Gearbox end? or the Wheel Bearing? That may need someone to clear this up fro you mate...

if the cv boot is loose then get a cable tie and wrap it around the shaft easy, thats what i did and it passed on mot yesterday

As mentioned above this just means the gaitor is loose, gaitor being the outer cv boot. just tie wrap it back into place.

The bulb is simple, just disconnect the wire then undo the retaining clip and bulb pops out.
