Righty, the old clutch is wearing as far as i can tell. The car is making a whirling/whining sound when the pedal is up and until you get the car past 1500 revs in 1st-3rd you can hear it. As soon as you put the pedal down it stops. This is probably just the clutch release bearing :s but i'm not too sure. Got told that i could get it replaced with a with a new kit etc for 180 quid. Is this a good price?

#3Thought it was, tried to convince him to just change the bearing but the dude wasn't having any of it and said it's just as much hassle. But i was hoping to save on parts as i'm planning to sell it come August/September and it's already had, timing belt, tensioners, water pump and a full new exhaust. The less money i spend on this motor is more i can spend on the Ep3.
