Bodyshop work.

   Hey guys,
   
   Going to get a quote tomorrow on getting all my bumpstrips done in Hi Gloss Black, I also want the bumper widemouthed and the fogs smoothed in and resprayed.
   
   What sort of quote am I looking at? I have no idea what to expect!
   
   Any idea's guys?

   at my work your talking about 180-200 for bump strips.
   
   front bumper about 150- 170 depending if you supply a donor bumper or fog blanks mate.
   
   were nt the cheapest but gives you a idea on price's

   Not sure on the smoothing etc, but for a bumper respray I've been told ~150 is reasonable.
   
   I'm looking to get mine done at the moment, and have had 2 quotes of £200 and £240 for the bumper alone.

   All depends on the body shop mate as soon as you mention modification to some they run a mile I know my boss use to turn bodywork mods away until i proved i could do them correct that would last as long as o.e parts now most the work is word of mouth.

   this is so true, ive asked about 5 body shops now. All have refused to do it even if i offer to sand down all the textured parts of the bumpers and they prep and spray it... one gave me a price, 500..... I luled
