u might be able to get to it if you take the back seat out , there should be a hole to get to it on top of the tank ? few 8mm bolts , and unclip fuel lines and power wires . is the sender unit attached ?

never tried but most cars are . i would of thought it would be the same , find out if its a coded one . easy job

just an update... got a new pump and fitted it, my car now runs again! YAY!!! although now my fuel gauge isnt working saying my tank empty when its actualy nearl full! and its not the pump which is broke as it happens on both the old and new pumps... does anybody have any thoughts? possibly a loose connection on the plug which goes in to the fuel pump?

    please help! cheers

I would check the fuel level sensor for connections and with a multimeter. If all seems fine there then it could be something to do with the connection behind the dash. Or fuse?
