Clutch?

   when i change gear in my vtr (mk2) it feels as if it takes a second or 2 after i let the clutch out to grab the gear if you know what i mean.. like as if somethings loose or worn? would it do this if my clutch is getting worn as its on around 80k miles now and ive owned it since around 45k, dont think its ever had the clutch done before. thanks

   get car to about 30 mph, put it in 5th, press clutch pedal down, rev it up (quite hard)and release clutch pedal. If revs go up but car does not accelerate then clutch is slipping.
