#2camskills are not too bad on price.

#3You can get premium tyres for a saxo, for 50-70 quid each.Quote:Where do you buy yours ? I was looking at black circles but them seem a bit steep
If you think thats steep, then i hope you never get a bigger and better car! Or go run some budgets for 30 quid.
Ive paid 190 perr tyre before.
Local bloke who comes into my garage pays 500 a tyre... -
#4Paid £50 each for rainsports from a local garage.
-
#5The last tyres I bought for the saxo where for 15's I just thought that 14's would be cheaper. I don't want to skimp. Are they still the best place to go. Shame my mate doesn't work at kwik fit with his 50% discount anymore
-
#6i run uniroyal rainsports on my vtr and there 195/45/15 and i get all for for £190 posted then take them to work to fit lol
-
#7Not being horrible to the uniroyal fans out there but the tyres are w*nk.
I admit it looks good but only performs well when warm and in dry conditions.
Toyo proxes, Conti contact 3's are good. Firehawks by firestone are only good if you want your tyrs to last 2.5 month. Marshal KH35 is good for a mid-range.
Thats just my experience talking. not trying to argue about it. -
#8I quite like mine tbh, maybe it's because I have only ran bugets/mid range tyres before? Still, they grip really well. Have the rainsports on the front and nexens 4000's (?) on the back and they can't keep up at all, backend is twitchy.
Wear rate seems pretty good too tbh, heard bad things from my mate about the shelf life of proxies. -
#9I got my proves from camskill
-
#10Toyo t1rs topgear.co.uk £50 each
-
#11You may be able to wangle some discount at demon tweeks, somethimes their prices for tyres are surprisingly good.
-
#12Just to add, I get my tyres from a local place to me near lightwater, he always has a queue about a mile long on saturdays. But dono where abouts you are.
-
#13Where I work I can get myself a set of T1Rs for £130.00 for four tyres.
Marshal KH35 at £115.00 for four. Got Marshals all round now and can say the performance in the wet is as great as a directional tyre + the road noise is lower. its a good all rounder look it up and try its worth it all day long.
